What three words would you use to describe your writing?
The three words I would say to describe my writing would have to unpredictable, thrilling, and immersive.
You have an in-person event coming up! Where and when can readers meet you and get a signed copy of your book?
I’ll be at Electric Park in Lehi on October 11th from 11 AM to 5 PM. I’d love to meet readers in person and sign copies of Jefferson Manor. There will also be bookish goodies for everyone!

What makes writing thrillers / mysteries exciting for you?
What excites me most about writing is the ability to create something unexpected. I love giving readers twists they didn’t see coming and keeping them guessing.
Was any part of Jefferson Manor based on your real life experiences?
No, not necessarily. But the Halloween traditions are definitely based on a small-town vibe.

Jefferson Manor was recently featured in an October book box from The Crafty Bookstore! How did it feel to have your book included?
I was thrilled to have my book included! It’s such an honor to have Jefferson Manor available at The Crafty Bookstore. The owners have been amazing to work with, and they treat the authors they carry so well. It truly is a one-of-a-kind bookstore.
What is the most difficult part of being an author?
Honestly, the hardest part is having to wear so many hats. Being an author isn't just about writing, there’s marketing, planning, creating, and constantly learning new things.

Do you have any upcoming projects you can tell us about?
Other than being at the Hazel Avenue Market on October 11th, I’m also working on my second novel. It will still have plenty of thrills, but it’s going to be a different genre, which I’m really excited about.
What do you like to do when you're not writing?
When I’m not writing, I love relaxing, spending time with family and friends, and finding inspiration in the little details.
